First off, Skylab Recording Studios, where we recorded most of our album, has a REALLY cool new feature where you can take a virtual tour of their facility through google+ street view. Click HERE to check it out!!! Can you spot our CD plaque on the wall? ;3 It’s like Where’s Waldo. Look carefully…

As far as shows this month go, S.S. HANAMI and My Dearest Friend are *back* at Taco & Tequila on St. Patrick’s Day (Sunday, March 17) at 9:00pm sharp. Grab a bite to eat and listen as two of Brevard’s finest bands bring the feels and the festivities!!!
Wearing green is cool… wearing green *costumes* is cooler! =D Prizes will be given to the best St. Patrick’s Day themed outfits.

By the way, if you haven’t heard My Dearest Friend yet, then make doubly sure to attend this show. They describe themselves as “Progressive indie rock that combines sweet melodies, driving rhythms, catchy riffs, and dramatic changes to convey… feeling” (which they certainly succeed at.) Additionally, our very own Andrew Wiggins plays drums in MDF, while James Brinkle Jr. is on vocals and guitar. Please visit their FACEBOOK and WEBSITE.
And did we mention the food? If you’re too young to toast St. Patty’s with us, then grab a few of your friends and sit down for some Mexican food. =D

Lastly, check out our GALLERY for some photographs from our Masquerade earlier this month, taken by Dave Good. We owe an unbelievably HUUUGE thanks to Taco & Tequila… We found out mere hours before the Masquerade was scheduled to begin that we couldn’t hold it where we’d originally planned. Our managers just walked into Taco & Tequila and asked if we could have our Masquerade there — the owners said yes, and within a few hours, My Dearest Friend was taking the stage (er, I mean balcony) followed by yours truly. The owners were even cool enough to let us drop countless balloons onto the first floor from the second floor balcony at one point during the show.
